Are Marxists for peace?
It is hard to describe the thrill of being
in a large march of like-minded people.
No photos can show the noise, the bustle,
the elation…
These were proud Americans at the
Washington monument.
Union peace committees were evident among
the crowd.
Communists were among the many, and having
just as much fun as everybody else
I was proud to have marched, sad to see
signs put down at the end, and determined to go on with the fight
